Our story
A home isn’t a house full of things. It’s the one place that holds you steady when everything else is moving.
Why an anchor
An anchor doesn’t stop a ship from going anywhere. It gives it somewhere to come back to — a fixed point in moving water. That’s what we think a home should be, and it’s what we think the furniture inside it should do.
Look closely at our mark and you’ll find an A standing inside the anchor’s crown: Anchor, and the people who make a house a home. The sofa where the kids grow up. The table where the holidays happen. The bed you can’t wait to get back to.
Cincinnati is a river city, built by people who came off the water and decided to stay. We liked the idea of a store that helps people do the same.
What we believe
01
Steady
No pressure, no gimmicks, no countdown clocks. Take your time; the sofa will still be here.
02
Honest
We'll tell you which fabric will survive your dog and which one won't — even if it's the cheaper one.
03
Local
We live here too. Our customers are our neighbours, and we'd like to see you again.
04
Made to last
We'd rather sell you one great piece than three you replace. Good frames, good joinery, good foam.
How we work
Most people start on their phone at eleven at night. So we built a store that works there too — and then a showroom where you can finish the job properly.
- 01Explore in 3DTurn every piece, walk the showroom and restyle fabrics before you ever get in the car.
- 02Check it fitsUse your real room dimensions in the Room Planner so there are no surprises at the door.
- 03Come sit on itBring your list. We’ll have it ready to try, and help with everything a 3D model can’t tell you.
- 04Bring it homeWe’ll talk through delivery and setup options with you when you visit.
